This year our annual  transition project  takes place at Commonweal on Tuesday 26^th through to Friday 29^th August , 10am – 3pm.

Commonweal School has just been graded Good in all 5 judgement areas under the new inspection framework, following an extremely rigorous Ofsted inspection over two days in late February.  Although we are clearly disappointed to have lost our ‘Outstanding’ status – in common with the vast majority of schools judged outstanding under the previous framework -  the Lead inspector’s verbal feedback, as reported above,  does reflect the view held by both inspectors and  ourselves that in  many ways Commonweal has made considerable progress since the last inspection, in 2011.
