It is believed we are the only secondary school in Swindon to have a Parent Teacher Association, let alone one that is so active.  Joining the PTA, or helping out at events, is a great way to feel a part of the school.  Not only will you be helping to raise money for those useful extras, but you will also by joining in with events that raise the profile of the school in the community.

There are roughly six to eight meetings a year, where members come together with the school’s senior management team to discuss event planning and agree how funds are spent.  We plan and run several well established and successful events throughout the year, such as our Christmas Craft market, Commonweal 5 race and quiz evenings.

For the PTA to succeed, it relies on volunteers.  Whether that is by people giving their time at meetings and events, taking on roles on the committee, by baking cakes, donating raffle and tombola prizes, or donating used uniforms for us to sell.  All help is gratefully received.

So, if you think you can help, or would like any further information about forthcoming meetings, events and ways of contributing to the PTA, please contact our chair at:

Thank you
