How we work

The full Commonweal Governing Body normally meets twice a term (6 times a year). However most of the detailed work is carried out by 3 sub-committees (Curriculum; Finance and Planning; Personnel) who usually meet two weeks before the full governing Body. Time limited, task oriented groups or committees are set up as and when required. Chairs of sub-committees and any extant groups, come together as the Chairs Coordinating Group that meets one week after the full governing body. The roles, responsibilities, accountability etc of these sub-committees is set out in the Scheme of Delegation.
